[...] Auch wenn Nonprofit-Organisationen – und hier speziell die traditionelle Fraktion der Wohlfahrtsverbände – Stakeholder am liebsten als ‘Spender’ sehen, so wird doch die Zukunft etwas ganz anderes bringen, nämlich den Stakeholder, der partizipiert , der mitgestalten möchte und der immer häufiger selbst Hilfsaktionen auf die Beine stellt oder ganze Projekte initiiert. Geldspenden bleiben wichtig, aber sie werden nur einen Teil der Aktivitäten ausmachen, die von Seiten der Unterstützer kommen. Der andere wird darin bestehen, dass sich Menschen an den Aufgaben von Nonprofits inhaltlich – und auch praktisch – stärker beteiligen und sie immer häufiger als Initiatoren und Hilfs- und Leistungsanbieter in Erscheinung treten. UN Volunteers hosts the very nice portal hhtp://www.onlinevolunteering.org which connects any organization in the development field with volunteers globally. It’s not exaclty micro-volunteering as assignments go from a few days to several months, but still a great resource to tap into.
