Who is behind the blog?

My name is Christian Kreutz and I am a political scientist, consultant and knowledge activist. My profound curiousity on the world’s changes, their implications and challenges drove me to start this blog in 2007. I believe a blog is a fantastic starting point to explore new learning spaces around the web and the space to reflect what one learns. I am fascinated about new and old ways to initiate social change and all kinds of networks. I have kept busy with many web-related activities since the nineties. One result is the book I have published on transnational civil society networks and their use of the Internet, as well as many other projects that have arise since.

Why this blog?

The Internet is full of fascinating and inspiring stories and some of them I cover here in this blog. This blog reflects my effort to learn about these fascinating new opportunities and developments. Through this blog I have had the chance to meet great and inspiring people. I try to connect people and their ideas from different domains and of course present a bit of the work I am busy with. I strongly believe in the power of open knowledge sharing in the web and hope you will like this blog and can benefit from it.
